Inter Milan are set to join the race for Liverpool target Adrien Rabiot.
The Frenchman is out of contract at Paris Saint-Germain in the summer and is, therefore, free to discuss a departure with non-French clubs from January.
As talkSPORT told you earlier this month, Liverpool appear to be the frontrunners to sign the central midfielder despite strong interest from Barcelona and Juventus.
But now, according to sources in Italy, Inter could attempt to gazump Liverpool with a January offer of their own.
The San Siro club are reportedly close to appointing Giuseppe Marotta, who left his role as Juve CEO earlier this season.
Marotta was considered as the driving force behind Juve’s interest in Rabiot and Tuttosport claim he will look to lure him to his new club once he is in place.

It is still not out of the question that Rabiot will sign an extension to stay at PSG but he will have no shortage of offers once January begins.
