Adrien Rabiot will not consider a move to Tottenham Hotspur in January – as he believes they are “below” his level.
A source told ESPN that Spurs, along with Juventus, have been alerted to his availability for €10million in the transfer window but he has his sights set higher than the north London club.
The 23-year-old’s deal at Paris Saint-Germain runs out in the summer and they are looking for a fee now rather than lose him for nothing at the end of the season.
Rabiot’s mother and agent Veronique said in December that her son had taken the decision to leave the French champions at the end of the season.
Chairman and CEO Nasser Al-Khelaifi has reportedly been “irritated” by the contract saga and the fact the club will lose a homegrown talent.
Al-Khelaifi, though, is also said to be relieved at no longer having to deal with Rabiot’s mother, who has caused a number of issues for the PSG board.
Barcelona, Liverpool and Arsenal are also reportedly after the French international.
