Premier League clubs will have been keeping a keen eye on last night’s Champions League clashes as they plot summer transfer moves.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United are among the teams who will be having an overhaul once the season ends and they may well have had scouts in the stands to watch targets on Tuesday night.

He appeared restricted by Laurent Blancs 3-5-2 formation and was unable to showcase himself.Ricardo Rodriguez (Wolfsburg) – The Swiss star, who is interesting Man United amongst others, was forced inside more than usual as he contended with ex-Tottenham winger Gareth Bale and was also dropping deeper, which isnt too surprising given Real Madrids desire to turn the tie around. He still did well though, making more successful tackles than any other player on the night (four).James Rodriguez and Isco (Real Madrid) – Scouts for these two will have been disappointed as neither made the field in their 3-0 victory over Wolfsburg.Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Paris Saint-Germain) – The Swedish striker, linked with Manchester United, will be glad to see the back of Joe Hart after the England shot-stopper twice denied him with excellent saves. The performances of Eliaquim Mangala and Nicolas Otamendi also played a part in his inability to power PSG through to the semi-finals.Marquinhos (Paris Saint-Germain) – The Brazilian, who is wanted by Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United put in another good defensive performance in PSGs backline, many fans believe the 21-year-old should be starting ahead of David Luiz, while the decision to start Serge Aurier instead of him in the first leg against Man City still rankles with many. The centre back was solid in possession, while also making four interceptions, four clearances and three successful tackles.Adrien Rabiot (Paris Saint-Germain) – Arguably one of PSGs best players on the night, the French, who has been chased by Arsenal and Tottenham, had to make things tick in the absence of Marco Veratti and Blaise Matuidi. Thiago Mottas exit through injury just before half-time added to the expectation on him but he dealt with it well, making more successful dribbles than any other player on the pitch (six), and more successful tackles (seven) than anyone else too.
