With Manchester City the only English team left in the Champions League, midweek has suddenly become a great time to check out teams from across Europe.

With the end of the current campaign and, subsequently, the summer transfer window approaching, Tuesday and Wednesday nights are now an excellent opportunity to take a look at some players who could possibly join your club – if they’ve got the cash.

So, with that in mind, we’ve highlighted some stars that could be on the move to the Premier League who will be in action in tonight.

Edinson Cavani (Paris Saint-Germain) – Click the right arrow for more stars to watch in the Champions League tonight… – The lank-haired Uruguayan has failed to move from behind Ibrahimovic’s rather large shadow again this year and is at another crossroads in his career. His goal record is still impressive and is drawing attention from plenty of European giants, including Chelsea and Juventus. If he can grab another important goal he could well find himself a wanted man in the summer.
Ricardo Rodriguez (Wolfsburg)
Ricardo Rodriguez (Wolfsburg) – With his ponytail and undercut it looks like the Swiss star should be serving cocktails in a pretentious Shoreditch bar, instead he could be one of the main ingredients in a shock Champions League win over Real Madrid. His penalty gave the German side the lead in the first leg but his defensive contribution will need to be at it’s best if the Bundesliga side are to repel their opponents for 90 minutes tonight. Manchester United have long held a torch for the left-back but Liverpool may also be sniffing around the player, who is likely to star at Euro 2016 too.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Paris Saint-Germain)
Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Paris Saint-Germain) – The giant Swedish strike star missed a penalty last week but atoned for his error by capitalising on Fernando’s mishap to score PSG’s equaliser. He’s hit 35 goals in all competitions and shows no sign of slowing down at the age of 34. Out of contract at the end of the campaign, Manchester United are being linked with a move for his services, while West Ham could also make an ambitious bid to land him. We’d say keep an eye out but he’s pretty hard to miss.
James Rodriguez (Real Madrid)
James Rodriguez (Real Madrid) – The Colombian playmaker isn’t having it all his own way in Spain and is reportedly unsettled. Manchester United are said to be interested in the player and Los Blancos may be willing to sell as they attempt to fund summer moves (probably for breakout Euro 2016 stars). He may not start against Wolfsburg in Madrid but could well have a cameo off the bench, especially if they are still behind in the tie.
Marquinhos (Paris Saint-Germain)
Marquinhos (Paris Saint-Germain) – With David Luiz suspended for the second leg in Manchester, his compatriot should come into the team. Having never fully wrestled a starting spot from the grasp of Luiz and Thiago Silva he’s often been linked with a move away with Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea. Remarkably, the versatile defender is still only 21 but he’ll need to put in a mature display tonight if PSG are to progress into the semi-finals.
Isco (Real Madrid)
Isco (Real Madrid) – Spain star Isco, just like team-mates Rodriguez, has been unable to make himself a permanent fixture in Zinedine Zidane’s midfield. His stock remains high with the likes of Juvetnus, Arsenal and Manchester City on alert if he becomes a sellable asset. Any performances against Wolfsburg may be fleeting but well worth a watch.
Adrien Rabiot (Paris Saint-Germain)
Adrien Rabiot (Paris Saint-Germain) – The rangy midfielder was impressive in the first leg and grabbed PSG’s key leveller, a back post header, on the night to make the score 2-2. He’s been extensively linked with moves to Arsenal and Tottenham but is increasingly an important presence and appears to be maturing well. PSG, though, may not fancy selling him, especially as he is one of few French stars in their squad.
