Adrien Rabiot will snub Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham to join Barcelona this summer, according to reports.

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Rabiot is out of contract at the Parc des Princes at the end of this season to spark mass interest from some of Europe’s biggest clubs.

But Rabiot has decided to choose Catalan giants Barca – and has already given a verbal agreement on a contract, according to French publication Le Parisien.

It is thought his wage will be around £170,000-a-week, and he will pocket an impressive £9million signing on fee.

Barca confirmed their interest in Rabiot last December, but insisted they had not agreed a pre-contract at that stage.

A club statement said: “The only contact made was during the month of August and one week ago. In both cases, this contact was made with PSG’s sporting management to show FC Barcelona’s interest in player Adrien Rabiot.”

Adrien Rabiot has been frozen out at PSG

The France international will be in a battle with Sergio Busquets, Arthur, Kevin-Prince Boateng, Arturo Vidal and Frenkie De Jong for a starting place in Ernesto Valverde’s midfield.

Rabiot’s most likely place in the side would be in place of Ivan Rakitic who looks set to leave the Nou Camp this summer.

Rabiot has not featured for PSG since December 11 having been frozen out of Thomas Tuchel’s plans due to his contract status.

He last featured in the Parisians’ Champions League group stage victory over Red Star Belgrade.

The 23-year-old joined the PSG academy in 2010 and has played 227 times for the first team.
