Paris Saint-Germain are determined to keep hold of Arsenal and Tottenham target Adrien Rabiot, despite the revelation from the midfielder’s mother that he wants to leave this summer.
The 20-year-old is considered one for the future by PSG but Rabiot himself is desperate for more first-team game time.
He has struggled to establish himself in the club’s star-studded midfield and has started just 22 Ligue 1 games in the past two seasons.
Despite that, he signed a contract until 2019 which appeared to signal his desire to stay. However, his mother Veronique has since revealed her son wants a move away – and has his heart set on the Premier League.
Rabiot reckons an impressive season could book him a place in France’s squad for Euro 2016 on their home turf – but a campaign spent on the PSG peripherals will not.
But reports in France have now claimed that PSG do not want to sell him this summer and will resist offers, with north London rivals Arsenal and Spurs both in the race.
