But reports alleged Klopp had made contact with the France midfielder’s representatives in a phone call.
This, though, has been denied with the club insisting there had been no conversations ‘in private or otherwise’ about a deal.
Barcelona are the team who seem most keen on Rabiot currently and it’s unlikely Liverpool would engage in a transfer given their depth at the position at this point in time with summer signing Fabinho not even on the bench at the moment.
